An old watchmaker turned toy maker is spending the last days of his life trying to recreate one of his happiest life memories through a miniature set and a bunch of mechanical toys, which he carefully designs. One of them, a Pierrot, comes to life and falls in love with a beautiful ballerina, whom he romances with his music. However, Pierrot becomes aware of his maker's plan and the place each toy plays in it, and he'll try his master's wish to become true despite his own love feelings and that it is too late for the old man.
