Firefighting SAFFiR android to begin testing - This is REAL Genius

The US Navy is set to start field trials with the SAFFiR firefighting android, a humanoid robot built to put out fires on board ships. The robot has been under development for years by various universities and other bodies, and if successful, could revolutionise firefighting in years to come.
