Icefin behind hoisted above the ice on the Ross Ice Shelf for deployment. The underwater footage is from a test site near McMurdo Station, as the team tested Icefin's weight deployment.

Icefin robotic vehicle deployed in shallow water

Icefin deployed through the ice on a jetty off McMurdo Sound. This is not the Ross Ice Shelf, but shallow water off McMurdo, an area where scientific research equipment is often placed in the water.
