Eva's learning to help build herself

Published on Aug 31, 2015

While we were not watching, Eva decided to start making copies of herself by tending our 3D printers.
We'll continue to keep an eye on Eva to see what she does next ...
PS. It actually took 25 mins to setup the job including layout, teaching Eva and testing.

ROBOTT NET: Automata Eva

Published on Mar 21, 2018

Automata’s Eva unit is designed to reduce the high barriers to the adoption of robotic systems. This is a desktop sized robotic arm that is still in development and offers small and medium sized enterprises a low cost and user-friendly robot solution.
Currently existing as a prototype unit (TRL 4) the aim of this voucher work is to assist Automata in the certification of the Eva unit as a safe collaborative robot that is ready for commercial deployment.

Sorting and machine vision integration with Eva

May 15, 2020

SME manufacturers require flexible solutions for their businesses and often lack the budget for bigger industrial robots. Eva, the low cost industrial robot arm, allows them to automate many of their processes to improve efficiency, reduce human error and empower their teams by allowing them to focus on value-add operations. With a robust API and SDK, Eva is an affordable solution to complex challenges and can easily integrate with other systems, including smart cameras for sorting applications.
