It is time to think about the implications of the Metaverse for the sports industry, with the advent of Mark Zuckerberg the founder of Facebook announcing the creation of a new team to work on Zuckerberg's vision of the Metaverse.

It is only a matter of time before the Metaverse becomes mainstream and getting ahead of the game must be part of your long term strategy.

Facebook announced the standalone product group internally tasked with building out his vision of his futuristic notion which was a central topic of discussion on Facebook's second quarter earnings call on Wednesday.

Zuckerberg took time to outline his version of the metaverse for analysts and investors. The idea of the metaverse is a foregone conclusion for the internet's next chapter, So the question is your company thinking about the metaverse and the ramifications and opportunities it offers?
