T8 the Bio Inspired 3D Printed Spider Octopod Robot

T8 is a wirelessly controlled bio-inspired octopod robot made with high resolution 3D printed parts. It uses a total of 26 motors: 3 in each leg and 2 in the abdomen. It is powered by the Bigfoot™ Inverse Kinematics Engine which performs all of the necessary calculations for smoothly controlling the motions of the robot in real time.

Remember Adam's creepy robot spider that he got a few years ago? The company that made that prototype has finally released the T8X, an updated version of the remote-controlled spider. Its movements are eerily lifelike, with an inverse kinematics algorithm coordinating all of its leg servos. In today's Show and Tell, Norm shows off what this spider can do!

The T8X Spider Robots each have 26 Robugtix servo motors and are powered by the proprietary Bigfoot Robotics Engine, which calculates all the complex robotics movements seen in the video in real-time.
No CGI was used in the making of this video.
