Nordic Game Awards 2016 - Cute Robot Category Breaker Films

Published on Jul 15, 2016

7 short breaker films featuring cute robot characters in funny situations that present the different categories for the Nordic Game Awards 2016, held in Malm?, Sweden. The Nordic Game event and award show is hosted each year by Nordic Game, a community that facilitates networking, funding, and other resources for game developers in the nordic countries.

In order to maximize the production quality, we opted to shoot the environments as small live action sets, which we could light beautifully quite fast, and then do the robots as all digital characters.
The films cover the categories of Best Nordic Game of the Year: Small Screen, Best Art, Best Fun for Everyone, Best Game Design, Best Technology, Best Audio and Best Nordic Game of the Year.

Produced in collaboration with 3D College and with students from the school.
