Big Robots - Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots Gets R/C Motion Control

We take a look at Big Robots. These large finding Radio Controlled fighting machines are a cross between Rock 'Em Sock 'Em robots and Wii Sports Boxing.
We go a couple of rounds with the following:
- DataRate
- Dr NineBrain
- Tenderizer 1019

"This Boxing Robot Punches You While You Play VR"I worked on this project with final year degree students in Computer Games Technology at Portsmouth University CCI faculty. The robot hardware is controlled over a serial interface, the team built an VR game which controls the robot, so when you get hit in VR you get hit in real life!
