Here it is... the final video for R2D2-01.EV3 still lots of work needed but that will be for 2014 !! until then HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my fan here, on Facebook and in real life!!
R2D2-01 Composed of 4 EV3 brick (the 3 in the body are daisy chained, the head is stand alone)
Suggestion for version 02 include different driving train (possibly one that is more fluid)
as well as some other add-ons like tools and of course some smart programming because
right now it's mainly remote controlled!!

EV3 LEGO MINDSTORMS R2-D2 BT v.1
Published on Apr 1, 2014
InfraRed (IR) control was great for prototyping but in reality and when sharing the floor with other EV3 IR controlled robots it simply cannot do. Shown here are the first test of driving R2D2 using a new BlueTooth (BT) remote. Also the previous design of the leg was very poor and prevented R2 from turning properly - So since the last video, lots change in the internal structure as well.
QUIZ-E a WALL-E look alike LEGO MINDSTORMS quiz robot
Published on May 19, 2014
- QUIZ-E is a WALL-E look alike robot designed by Marc-Andre Bazergui ([email protected]) as per an original idea made for Atlab (Centena Group) and named atlab-E.
- The robot is designed for lots of interactivity and to pose questions to the audience. Good answer opens the belly of the robot to reveal prize
- Simultaneously the robot may be driven around using smart phone/tablet via teh LEGO supplied Robot Commander app. (Use the Gripp3r control for best results)
- QUIZ-E uses 2 EV3 bricks in daisy-chain mode. The pBrick in the back should be started first (it is the slave) and the top pBrick should be started last (it is the master)
- Run the program QUIZ-E_main from the master pBrick
