MDi #4 head preview & Pixy CMUcam5 Image Sensor pan/tilt demo

Published on Jul 28, 2016

A simple preview of the head of my current robot project MDi #4. Actually the head is from the initial cardboard prototype; what's new on this are the just made neck brackets.
Also in this video I show the pan/tilt demo with the Pixy CMUcam5 Image Sensor which I won from a "Call for Reviewers" at Let's Make Robots. So, I'll make a review for this sensor and also will be using it in MDi #4.

Overview of the almost finished head for my MDi #4 robot project and its main features, as follows: LV-MaxSonar-EZ from MaxBotix (ultrassonic sensor), Makeblock Me LED Matrix (x2), PIR sensor (x2), Wi-Fi FPV camera.
The head has two DOFs (two servo motors). The "antena" is just for aesthetics.

Remote controlled robot, based on Arduino, Makeblock and DIY parts

Published on Mar 30, 2018

Remote controlled routine of MDi #4.
Most of the parts on this robot are DIY, but it also uses parts from Makeblock, for example, the tracks, the LED matrices in the head (Makeblock Me LED Matrix), the grippers (Makeblock Robot Gripper) and a few more, like pulleys, gears, beams, connectors...
The remote controller is based on Arduino and NRF24L01 modules.
