Prof.
Shai Revzen's lab has developed an inexpensive technique to rapidly fabricate useful robots, requiring only two stock materials and a few hand tools. With the modules that power the robots, a crate-full of these materials one can build a great variety of robots. These bots can help with a search an rescue team tackling unexpected situations, a robotics start-up company trying to make a new product prototype, a high-school robotics classroom teaching teams of kids about the principles of robotics, special forces collecting intelligence behind enemy lines, or even future astronauts on moon or mars.
