SpaceX unveiled the world’s first private passenger to fly around the Moon aboard its BFR (Big Falcon Rocket) launch vehicle on 17 September 2018, at 18:00 PDT (18 September 2018, 01:00 UTC). The private passenger was named as Yusaku Maezawa and will be taken on a trip around the Moon, launched by the BFR in 2023.
