Aesynt: a global leader in pharmacy automation

Although the name might be unfamiliar, Aesynt, a medical technology company based in the Pittsburgh region, has been a leader in pharmacy automation for a quarter century. The company began as Automated Healthcare, was acquired by McKesson and was then recently sold to Francisco Partners, a $7 billion private equity firm based in San Francisco. Since being taken private, Aesynt has made several acquisitions that have expanded the company's footprint across the globe. Kraig McEwen, president of Aesynt and Gary Bucciarelli, the company's chief administration officer and CFO discuss the company's recent developments and vision for the future.
