    FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT

    Published on Jan 6, 2015

This is the first movie ever made with HEXO+, the first fully-autonomous flying camera, released at CES 2015 with Xavier De Le Rue.

HEXO+ enables you to capture yourself in action without a pilot. It's a ready to fly drone that follows and frames you to capture incredible shots with your smartphone and a Gopro. It doesn't need any bracelet or remote control.
The HEXO+ is the perfect tool for action sports and for moviemakers with its numerous camera movements (follow-me, dolly, 360 selfie, hover and fly away)

    Published on Nov 17, 2015

The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived—today, we are shipping HEXO+ units to you, our backers and early supporters. This is a major milestone for all of us. Together, we’ve developed the first autonomous drone. This flight system can take-off, follow and frame you while filming with predetermined camera movements, and safely land. These processes are entirely automated and simply initiated with the HEXO+ smartphone app. This allows you to capture the moment hands-free, as no bulky remote control is needed.

Hexo+ Review - A Hexacopter that follows you

    Published on Mar 22, 2016

The Hexo+ is a six-rotored, semi-autonomous hexacopter that locks onto and follows your iOS or Android phone on command. It's designed for sports enthusiasts who want to be filmed from the air while they participate in biking, skiing, or other extreme sports. The drone accepts simple commands from your phone; you can tell it how close to follow and when to swoop in or spin around you. It has about 15 minutes of flight time on a full charge, and can land on its own when the battery runs low. In the event of disaster, the landing struts and propeller blades are easy to replace in the field.
