Remote Visual Inspection with the VT Vertical Crawler

    Uploaded on Nov 25, 2011

Watch behind-the-scenes testing footage of Inuktun's Versatrax Vertical Crawler™, a waterproof system that performs difficult inspections over a range of pipe sizes in virtually any orientation.

The robotic crawler features remotely controlled expansion to negotiate diameter variations and independent track control to easily navigate multiple bends and vertical pipe segments. See it travel through a pipe mimicking real world inspection applications and demonstrating its auxiliary LED lighting capabilities.

Applications include, but are not limited to, inspecting flexible risers, vertical and inclined pipework (caissons), steam headers, vertical air and seawater intakes, oil and gas refineries, penstocks, and more.

Inuktun MaggHD performs wind turbine remote visual inspection

    Published on Jun 13, 2016

A standard product offered by Inuktun, the MaggHD is a miniature magnetic crawler that provides a reliable and easy solution for onshore and offshore wind companies.

The MaggHD offers a 360 degree continuous tilt camera with full 1080p video, a 10X optical and 12X digital zoom, optional variable intensity LED lights (spot and flood), and parallel laser lines for on-screen size estimation. Utilizing Inuktun's ICON and InPRO PC control system, the crawler records video at full resolution and allows for still image capture, on-screen annotation and sensor integration.

When part of a complete tank inspection package, the camera head can be removed from the crawler and attached to an extendible pole for quick evaluation of nearby hazards or confined spaces. Whether you're inspecting wind turbines, tanks and vessels, oil rigs, pipelines, or other infrastructure, Inuktun has the robotic camera or crawler solution for you.
