The Original SmarTrike Dazzle from smarTrike

    Published on Nov 18, 2016

You get five products in one with The Original SmarTrike Dazzle! It grows with your baby from 10 months to 3 years, going from stroller to tricycle!

Product Info: The Original SmarTrike Dazzle is a combination stroller and ride-on toy that grows with your baby from 10 months to 3 years. Because of this, it’s like getting five products in one. In its first stage, it functions like a stroller with a parent push handle, rear storage bag, handlebar storage bag, sun canopy with UV protection, cup holder, and a foot brake. The height of the parent handle can also be adjusted, and it features Touch Steering to make it easy for parents to steer and control. There are also footrests for the child’s feet, and there is a toy phone for baby to play with that is tethered to the front handlebars so it doesn’t get dropped on the ground. You can also recline the padded seat to make it more comfortable for baby to nap on the go.

At 18 months, you can remove the sun canopy, but the SmarTrike Dazzle will still be controlled by a parent.

At 24 months, the SmarTrike Dazzle can be controlled by a child. At this stage, you remove the safety bar from the seat and flip up the footrests to allow a child to pedal the SmarTrike for real using the pedals on the front wheel. The parent handle stays put so that parents can still be in control as their toddler learns to pedal.

And then once kids are able to pedal on their own at about 30–36 months, remove the parent handlebar (and storage bags), and adjust the front wheel by pressing the red button and giving the wheel a 180-degree spin. This allows the handlebars in the front to steer the front wheel so that now your child has a tricycle that he can ride and control. It still has the harness and padded seat for safety and comfort while riding. Plus, the cup holder and toy phone remain on the handlebars. There’s also a storage bucket in the back so that kids can take their toys with them while they’re on the go.

The Dazzle is available in red, grey, or a quilted purple version, which is what we’re showing you in our video review.
