    Ground testing of Archinaut Robotics

    Published on Aug 9, 2017

Archinaut is the in-space robotic manufacturing and assembly system. This system may be used for the on orbit manufacture of extended structures, human-rated spacecraft, and other satellites.

Archinaut removes launch-related costs and design constraints by manufacturing components for the mission in space, as opposed to making them on Earth and launching them to space. Once the parts are manufactured by Archinaut, the system then uses its advanced, high-precision robotic arms to assemble the structure in space.
