Gregg Zehr is President of Lab126, the Silicon Valley-based research and product develop laboratory for Amazon Inc. Zehr led the development and engineering of the original Amazon Kindle e-reader and has continued to lead development of all subsequent products originating in the Lab. Before joining Amazon, Zehr was VP Hardware Engineering at Palm Computing, VP Engineering at VA Linux, and VP Powerbook Engineering at Apple Inc. He holds BSEE and MSEE degrees from the University of Illinois.
