Roam’s early team is among our industry’s pioneers, who built the first commercial exoskeletons to overcome the body's barriers. The invention of these early exoskeletons was the first major step in giving people the mobile lives they were meant to live. Now, we are ready to take the next step. We believe that exoskeletons are only as good as the number of people who can use them, and this belief guides our work. So our approach is fundamentally different. For the first time, exoskeletons will exist at the weight and cost required to go with you in the world.
That is why we’re called Roam--our goal is for you to go where you like, as you like. And this goal extends to all types of people: aging athletes, soldiers on the ground, but also everyday people.
