Bringing fully autonomous driving vehicles to the cities until 2021: That's the fixed goal of the Audi startup Autonomous Intelligent Driving (AID). For achieving this goal, the brand with Four Rings founded the Audi subsidiary in Munich. Essentially, the company's goal is to bring a software module for autonomous driving to market. This module will be implemented into robot taxis as well as fully autonomous driving private cars, without a steering wheel and pedals. At AID, top experts from over 15 nations work together and they continue to grow everyday. The Audi subsidiary will hire up to 600 employees in the medium term.
