SpaceX Starlink 159 launch and Falcon 9 first stage landing, 28 April 2024

A SpaceX Falcon 9 launch vehicle launched 23 Starlink satellites (Starlink-159 / Starlink 6-54) to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, on 28 April 2024, at 22:08 UTC (18:08 EDT). Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on the “Just Read the Instructions” droneship, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. Falcon 9’s first stage (B1076) previously supported 12 missions: CRS-26, OneWeb 16, Intelsat IS-40e, SES O3b mPOWER 5 & 6, Ovzon 3, Eutelsat 36D and six Starlink missions.

Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on the “A Shortfall of Gravitas” droneship, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. Falcon 9’s first stage (B1067) previously supported 18 missions: CRS-22, Crew-3, Turksat-5B, Crew-4, CRS-25, Eutelsat HOTBIRD 13G, O3b mPOWER-a, PSN SATRIA-1, Merah Putih 2 and 9 Starlink missions.
