The worst thing you can do is to see a problem you can solve, and do nothing about it. America’s 2015 Top Young Scientist Hannah Herbst talked about what she has learned from building robots with boys. Hannahs love for science began when she attended a summer engineer camp in 2013 and won! Since then she developed many innovative projects, e.g. her first big project brings stable electricity and fresh water access to people in underdeveloped nations. She has been named to the Forbes 30 under 30 and also as America’s 2015 Top Young Scientist for her work. Hannah is a very passionated young woman and she wants to inspire other young girls. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
