School students and others living in all corners of the country will soon have greater access to important objects and stories related to Australia's history, thanks to a CSIRO robot and high speed broadband connectivity.

Our Museum Robot project - or Mobile Telepresence for Museums - will see a robot accompany museum education staff through the National Museum of Australia (NMA).

Remote visitors, such as a class of school students in rural and regional Australia, will be able to interact with an educator, providing an interactive learning experience.
