Looking for fuel savings benefits to combat record-high diesel prices without losing hauling power, TR Oliver embedded a CNG-fueled Hyliion Hybrid into its fleet in Vancouver, Washington. Operating in the hilly terrain of the Pacific Northwest, the TR Oliver team was able to achieve a two-thirds reduction in operating costs while running the CNG Hybrid—versus their usual diesel applications—and had no issues with their loads due to the extra torque the Hyliion system provided.
