Robot taxis and the future of cab drivers

Published on Jul 15, 2015

A recent study from the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory suggests that a robotic taxi service could help alleviate traffic and cut down on greenhouse gas emissions. What would this future world look like? Is it realistic? And how far away could it be?

We have a question for YOU. When autonomous taxis become integrated into our lives, how will we deal with the thousands of unemployed taxi drivers? What is the transition plan? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
