Building a cheap quadcopter At Home (1) - Lift Off

    Published on Sep 20, 2014

In this video I try to build a basic platform for a quadcopter with salvaged motors from small axial fans and some other household items.
These (like all PC-Fans) are powered by BLDCs (Brushles DC-Motors). You cannot reverse their rotation by changing the POLARITY . That only works with old fashioned "Brushed DC Motors".
Model number of the Server Power Supply: HP - DPS - 700 CB-A.
I recommend you not to buy this unit simply for this unit . A wide variety of fan -motors, salvagable from several devices / manufacturers could be used.

    The Selfie Drone

    Published on May 2, 2017

This is the smartphone-controlled drone that captures and shares stunning first-person photos and video without a clumsy selfie stick. Ideal for novice flyers, the drone can take off and land from your hand and features a 98' range, obstacle avoidance, and optical flow for stable flight that creates a hovering tripod. Its 12 MP camera offers electronic and mechanical stabilization and flash to record bucket-list adventures, party hijinks, or daily happenings on-the-fly, day or night. A free app for iOS or Android smartphones provides intuitive navigation and camera controls and one-touch sharing of “dronies” to all your social media. Saves up to 1080p/60 fps video onto a microSD card up to 64 GB.

    The Selfie Drone.
