    ENDURANCE testing at Johnson Space Center

    ENDURANCE's profiler in action at Johnson Space Center's Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory. The vehicle maneuvers to predetermined sonde grid points and hovers in "station keeping" mode.Then the sonde begins its descent, descending to 1 m bottom altimeter standoff and stops, powers on the sonde light and takes a few seconds of high def video before being raised back to its stowed position on the vehicle.
