Battroborg Robots. Battroborg 3-In-1 Battle Arena, Battling Robots Come To Life!

    Published on Aug 18, 2013

    Battroborg Battling Robots
Today we do a hands on review with the Battroborg Battling Robots from Tomy. Use the 2.4 Ghz RC motion controllers to make your robot punch away at another robot. This is basically a very high tech version of the old Rock And Sock'em Robots.

In this review we are are using the Battroborg 3-In-1 Arena, which comes with 2 robots - Clopto and Cobalt, in total there will be 8 robots. If you have more robots, you can do a huge battle royal and throw them all in the ring at the same time.

The ability to remotely control a robot by just swinging controllers in your hand is very cool, but the lack of ability to accurately control movements can be frustrating. Our kids actually found it most fun to build various structures and have the robots "invade" the town and destroy things.

Here is more info on the Battroborg Robots from Tomy -

Battroborgs are motion controlled battling robots that let players control the action in the ring.

The Battroborg 3-in-1 Battle Arena offers multiple ways to play and each Battroborg can battle in three different competitive game modes.

Combat mode allows for head-to-head battle against an opponent. Battle boot camp allows players to master the art of combat by taking on the training drones. The other game play options include Autodrone mode where players can battle against a self-activated Battroborg robot or Tag mode where a self-propelled Battroborg robot chases other Battroborgs. Battroborg's advanced radio control technology also allows players to host a Battle Royal where up to 20 robots can battle at one time.

Pick up a single robot for about $30 and a set with an arena for about $70

They are sturdy easy to use and a lot of fun.

Their is another version from Takara Tomy that was released over seas.

    Published on Sep 6, 2014

Last year we reviewed the Battroborg robots - some robots who liked to duke it out with each other. This year Tomy has come up with Battroborg Warriors - now the robots have weapons!

Conquer your opponent by knocking him down with a solid strike of the blade. These warriors are outfitted with custom, interchangeable weapons and armor. Will you be the last warrior standing?
