We're extremely excited to present to you the Next Generation ZenRobotics Recycler! The Next Generation ZRR is faster, can sort huge objects and reaches a whole 2 meter along the sorting belt. Human wastesorting simply cannot be compared with the power, stamina and speed of the ZRR – we humans have now lost the race against the raging sorting robots!

    ZenRobotics Recyclers in Japan

    Published on Oct 27, 2016

Presenting two ZRR2 units sorting waste at the Shitara Group's site in Japan. One robot makes up to 2,000 picks per hour. A typical installation with two robot arms makes up to 4,000 picks per hour and works in two shifts. Now, multiply that with a four-robot installation, like on the video, and multiple shifts. That amounts to a mountain of sorted waste!

My Robotic Sorting Station - Carl F

    Published on Sep 26, 2017

Carl Fredrik Jönsson from the Swedish waste management company Carl F tells us what it's like working with a ZRR.
The Malmö-based company Carl F receives approx. 40 000 tonnes of C&D waste annually, of which 40 % has ended up as combustible residual waste previously. Thanks to the Carl-robot, that number has dropped to 10 %. Because of ZRR's 24/7 operation and the feeding rate control, there's no need to overfill the conveyor to maintain the yearly capacity.
