EGO-1: a soft humanoid robot for physical interaction

EGO is an articulated soft robot able to physically interact with people, sharing workspace and collaborating with humans in different tasks. When teleoperated, it can act as an avatar, replacing human beings in dangerous tasks, such as exploring hazardous and risky environments, or working in unhealthy spaces.
