The video gives an overview of the FemtoTools Microforce Sensing Probes used in combination with the FT-FS1000/FT-RS1000 micromechanical testing systems. To expand the application range of the FemtoTools instruments, where the high-precision sensor-sample alignment or the obstruction of the sample in a top-view microscope is critical, FemtoTools has developed the lateral microforce-sensing probe. This patented sensor design enables the measurement of nano- to millinewton forces perpendicular to the sensor's axis.
