From Manus + Cursor Agents to a GPT‑4o Image Generator: GPTImage.ai

Back‑story

Early this March, Manus burst onto the scene with its autonomous Agent workflow and stunned everyone with how much coding it could automate.
Inspired by a friend, I asked Manus to write a WordPress plugin that turns any outline into an infographic and a structured web page. After only a handful of prompts, I actually had a working prototype.
Then Manus introduced paid plans, and the included credits simply couldn’t keep up with my day‑to‑day coding needs. Around the same time, OpenAI’s GPT‑4o image generation—especially those viral Ghibli‑style examples—was taking over the internet. So I switched to Cursor’s Agent to keep refining the plugin, ultimately launching a full‑blown GPT‑4o image generator that now packs shortcode management, API keys, a credit system, credit top‑ups, sensitive‑word filters, and user‑report tools.

We’re aiming to launch on Product Hunt this Wednesday and would love early feedback from the community here!
I’ve also written in‑depth pieces on how Manus and Cursor wrote code I can hardly keep up with, plus some notes on using agent‑based programming in practice.

What can GPTImage.ai do?

  • Multi‑reference image generation: Upload 1–5 images; GPT‑4o keeps colours and key elements consistent.
  • GPTImage
  • 10 + generation templates: Design‑to‑photo, photo‑to‑art, Ghibli style, old‑photo restoration, comics, picture‑books, posters, e‑commerce packs, logos, icons, slides, infographics — all from a single prompt.
  • Multi‑language prompts: Describe in English, Chinese, Japanese, etc., and the model understands.
  • Privacy first: Delete any upload or output manually; our server auto‑purges images after 24 h.
  • Free tier + launch discount: New users get 10 credits & 40 % OFF for the first month during the Product Hunt launch

You can watch a quick demo here:

Who is it for?

  • Graphic designers & illustrators: Rapid ideation, style transfer, consistent mock‑ups.
  • Content creators & bloggers: Custom hero images, thumbnails, and illustrative visuals on demand.
  • Game developers & writers: Instantly visualize characters, props, and environments to brief a team.
  • Marketers & small businesses: On‑brand social posts, ads, and product shots without a photographer.
  • Educators & students: Diagrams, infographics, and creative projects without advanced art skills.
  • Casual creators & hobbyists: Wallpapers, avatars, memes, and personalised gifts for fun.

Ask for feedback

The product is still early. I’d love your candid thoughts on:
  • Ease of use — is the multi‑reference workflow intuitive?
  • Templates — which new scenario would you like to see next?
Thanks in advance! 🙏
