Tactile Sensors research project from ETS Montreal (Ecole de Technologie Superieure) designed for Robotiq 3-Finger Adaptive Robot Gripper. These tactile sensors include an innovative micro-structure based on dielectric material to enhance the capacitive sensing. Equipped with these tactile sensors, robotic end effectors can sense very low minimal force and measure the pressure in a dynamic and static way.
Robotiq Grippers used for the Project RoboGasInspector, aiming at the development and evaluation of a human-robot system that applies autonomous robots equipped with remote gas detection devices to detect and locate gas leaks.

With the new force control parameters, you can now reposition objects using extrinsic dexterity with the 2-Finger Adaptive Robot Gripper. We put together a demo that takes round shaped parts (hockey pucks) that are eventually turned 90 degrees while in the Gripper and stacks them. This program uses iterative processes to determine the position of the next puck to grab and how high to stack it.
