Dassault Aviation is trying to interest the French military in buying or leasing the Israel Aerospace Industries Heron TP unmanned aircraft, as an interim solution until the UK/French BAE/Dassault Telemos UAV can be fielded around 2017. France already opeartes the smaller Heron 1in Afghanistan as the EADS Harfang.
