Inspired by Star Wars & Project Almanac - we bring to you Wireless Gesture Control - Use flex sensors on your hand and gyro sensor of the phone, Arduino UNO board and control Phiro Pro robot wirelessly using the Pocket Code app on your smartphone! Flex your finger to watch Phiro flash lights and change colors with each finger. Make a ball of your fist and watch the lights stop. Tilt your arm and watch Phiro move. Open your hand and watch Phiro move forward!!
 

Speech Recognition with Phiro + Pocket Code

This video from our friends at Catrobat is of a demo of the forthcoming "Ask" brick of Pocket Code which uses Android's speech recognition engine. In combination with the "Speak" brick and the face detection sensors of Pocket Code, this allows kids to, e.g., give their Phiro robot a face, speech and language understanding, as well as a way to detect whether someone stands in front of the robot.
