2013, what a year!
World's first solar powered family car, something that so far seemed a dream, became reality and a new star was born: Stella.

In this year clip we would like to look back at last year's adventures of Solar Team Eindhoven and the development of our Stella: from the design and production phase till her first meters and our victory in the Michelin Cruiser Class of the 2013 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia.

Let's zoom out for a little bit. We often don't think about the impact that innovation brings along. In the early years of cars we did not think about pollution and a limitation of fossil fuels. We only have one earth and we should take good care of it.

We do not inherit the planet from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children. Therefore we think that solar power is the way to go for mobility. This video illustrates our vision of mobility. Stella was a revolution, now we need evolution. With Lux we took the next step in bringing solar cars to the consumer.
