About Sophie
After gaining her degree in Special Effects prosthetics from the London Arts University, Sophie de Barata Oliveira worked for a leading prosthetic provider as a sculptor, making realistic-looking, bespoke prosthetics for amputees. Realising there was scope for prosthetic limbs to be more adventurous, Sophie set up her own studio. She now creates unique designs that reflect her clients' interests and personalities.
