SpaceX Starlink 289 launch and Falcon 9 first stage landing, 14 August 2025

A SpaceX Falcon 9 launch vehicle launched 24 Starlink satellites (Starlink-289 / Starlink 17-4) to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, on 14 August 2025, at 05:05 UTC (13 August, at 22:05 PDT). Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship, stationed in the Pacific Ocean. Falcon 9’s first stage (B1093) previously supported four Starlink missions.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 launch vehicle launched 28 Starlink satellites (Starlink-290 / Starlink 10-20) to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida, on 14 August 2025, at 12:29 UTC (08:29 EDT). Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on the “Just Read the Instructions” droneship, stationed in the Pacific Ocean. Falcon 9’s first stage (B1085) previously supported 9 missions: Crew-9, RRT-1, Blue Ghost M1, Fram2, SXM-10, MTG-S1 and 3 Starlink missions.
