Aakash Sinha, a well-known Robotics scientist who has worked in the top US robotics companies including Lockheed-Martin and iRobot Corp for over ten years and has MS in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) with Dr. Raj Reddy. He won the finalist medal at the prestigious US Defence DARPA Robotics Grand Challenge and outstanding employee award at iRobot Corp. As the Technical Head at iRobot his team delivered over 3000 packbot robots to US Army. He has over 15 international publications in robotics and related fields. He has designed Robotic Drones , Robotic Boats and Robotic Vehicles for defense as well as civilian purposes. He was selected MIT TR3 ( Young innovators under 35) 2013 for his innovation Ro-boat. He was also chosen Young Entrepreneur of the year 2012 by Enterprise Asia and is a Gold Medal winner of the innovators competition organized by Department of Science and Technology and Lockheed Martin. He was also awarded CNN India positive award and was covered widely on CNN channel for his work in Robotics.
