Scania semi-autonomous platooning is a system that brings together a number of trucks in a closely-aligned convoy (or ‘platoon’) on highways, using electronic coupling technology. The drivers in following trucks can work or rest during autonomous mode. This film features future technology and solutions that are presently not commercially available from Scania.
