Thanks to the software team, no extra transmitter need here, just download and app called Elanview(IOS, Android) and then you can control Cicada by your smartphone with ease.
We engineered Cicada so that you can fly this drone indoor or outdoor and take picture just as you were using your phone. Similar size to Bebop by Parrot but with better video quality, Cicada can definitely shake the ground of mini drones.

You can capture high-quality aerial images using its Wi-Fi enabled, HD digital, 1080p video/16 MP still/10 MP burst photo camera with 169° fisheye/F2.8 lens, adjustable camera angle and EIS (Electronic Image Stabilizing) system.

Control the Cicada several ways: using virtual sticks, keypads, or a gravity sensor. Take off or power down with simple slide buttons. GPS guidance helps with outdoor maneuvering, and you can return home with the push of a button.

Onscreen displays keep you alert to battery voltage and the strength of your GPS and Wi-Fi signals. Wi-Fi and a micro memory card port give you the option to store videos and photos onboard or stream them directly to the web.
