Honda R&D Co., Ltd. (株式会社本田技術研究所) has successfully conducted a launch and landing test of an experimental reusable rocket at Honda facility in Taiki Town, Hiroo District, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan, on 17 June 2025, at 07:15 UTC (16:15 local time). During the 56.6 seconds flight, the rocket (6.3 m in length, 85 cm in diameter) reached an altitude of 271.4 metres. According to Honda the objective of the test was the “establishment of key technologies necessary for a reusable rocket”.
