Kay Firth-Butterfield is the head of artificial intelligence and machine learning at the World Economic Forum. She’s also a Barrister and part-time Judge, and in her role at the WEF, she works with governments and businesses to ensure that they address the challenges of implementing artificial intelligence across the world.

In this video, she gives the audience an overview of her role and priorities at the WEF, as well as how the field of AI ethics has advanced in terms of governance and public salience. She explains how the WEF is looking to tackle the growing field of artificial intelligence, as well as how governments should handle “techlash” going forward.
