The first LiHong-1 sub-orbital launch vehicle (力鸿一号遥一, PH-1 Y1) was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, China, on 12 January 2026, at 08:00 UTC (16:00 local time). According to CAS Space, LiHong-1 reached an altitude of about 120 kilometres, released a payload capsule that made a parachute-assisted landing, and demonstrated precision landing-control technology for the first stage.
