Minotaur IV launches ORS-5 Satellite

An Orbital ATK Minotaur IV expendable launch system launched the ORS-5 satellite from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, on 26 August 2017, 06:04 UTC (02:04 EDT). The Operationally Responsive Space-5 (ORS-5) spacecraft will monitor satellites and space debris. The Minotaur IV is capable of launching payloads up to 1800 kg. to low-Earth orbit.

Orbital ATK Minotaur-C launch vehicle launched six SkySat and four Dove satellites for Planet, from SLC-576E at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, on 31 October 2017, at 21:37 UTC (14:37 PDT). Approximately 13 minutes into flight, the ten Planet spacecraft will deploy into their targeted Sun synchronous orbit, 500 kilometers above the Earth.

Minotaur IV launches NROL-129

A Northrop Grumman Minotaur IV launch vehicle launched the NROL-129 mission from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport’s (MARS) Pad 0B on Wallops Island, Virginia, on 15 July 2020, at 13:46 UTC (09:46 local time). NROL-129 is a classified payload for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). The Minotaur IV rocket, built and operated by Northrop Grumman, consists of three solid-fueled motors from decommissioned Peacekeeper ICBMs and a commercial solid rocket upper stage.

Minotaur I launches NROL-111

A Northrop Grumman Minotaur I Space Launch Vehicle launched the NROL-111 mission from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport’s (MARS) Pad 0B at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, on 15 June 2021, at 13:35 UTC (09:35 EDT). The NROL-111 mission delivered three national security payloads to low Earth orbits for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). The Minotaur I SLV consists of two solid-fueled motors from decommissioned Minuteman ICBMs as the lower stages and two solid-fueled commercial solid rocket motors as upper stages.
