A Shavit-2 launch vehicle launched the Ofek-13 satellite from the Palmachim Airbase, Israel, on 28 March 2023, at 23:10 UTC (29 March, at 02:10 local time). According to official sources, Ofek-13 (Horizon-13) “entered its orbit in space” and will provide “unique metre observation capabilities” that will enable “all-weather Earth observation” for the Ministry of Defence of Israel.
