SSLV-D1 - the first launch of SSLV

ISRO’s SSLV-D1 rocket was launched for the first time from the First Launch Pad (FLP) of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC), Sriharikota, India, on 7 August 2022, at 03:48 UTC (09:18 IST). For its first developmental flight, the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) launched EOS-02 (Microsat-2A), an Earth observation satellite weighing 135 kg, into low Earth orbit (LEO). As a secondary payload, AzaadiSAT is a 8U Cubesat weighing around 8 kg.

SSLV-D2 - the second launch of SSLV

ISRO’s SSLV-D2 rocket was launched for the second time from the First Launch Pad (FLP) of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC), Sriharikota, India, on 10 February 2023, at 03:48 UTC (09:18 IST). For its second developmental flight (D2), the Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) launched EOS-07 (156.3 kg), Janus-1 (10.2 kg ) and AzaadiSAT-2 (8.7 kg) satellites into 450 km circular orbit.

SSLV launches EOS-08 and SR-0 DEMOSAT (SSLV-D3)

ISRO’s SSLV-D3 rocket launched the EOS-08 and SR-0 DEMOSAT satellites from the First Launch Pad (FLP) of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC), Sriharikota, India, on 16 August 2024, at 03:47 UTC (09:17 IST). EOS-09 launch

For ISRO’s PSLV-C61 mission, a Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) in the “XL” configuration (PSLV-XL) launched the EOS-09 mission (also known as RISAT-1B), from the First Launch Pad (FLP) of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC-SHAR), Sriharikota, India, on 18 May 2025, at 00:29 UTC (05:59 IST). According to ISRO, “EOS-09 is designed to provide continuous and reliable remote sensing data for operational applications across various sectors”.
