Songbird is a multi-pupose VTOL UAS from Germandrones, Berlin. Due to its vertical take-off and landing capabilities it combines the long range and high speed of fixed-wing UAS with the uncomplicated handling and safe landing of multicopters.

The Songbird can operate with windspeeds of up to 20 m/s (70 km/h). Maximum take-off weight is 7.5 kg, which includes a payload of 1.4 kg. Flight time is over 1 hour and the maximum speed is 160 km/h.

The Songbird comes in a sturdy box and can be assembled in less than 10 minutes (no tools required).

Main utilisations include surveying & mapping, agriculture, security & surveillance, search & Rescue as well as transport applications.
