A Super Heavy rocket booster launched a Starship upper stage for SpaceX’s eleventh flight test of a fully integrated Starship, from Starbase, Texas, on 13 October 2025, at 23:23 UTC (18:23 CDT). According to SpaceX, the Starship upper stage will repeat its suborbital trajectory and target objectives not reached on the previous three flight tests, including the deployment of eight Starlink simulators. The Super Heavy booster previously flew on Flight 8, has 24 flight-proven Raptor engines, and its primary test objective was demonstrating a unique landing burn engine configuration on a trajectory to an offshore landing point. The Starship upper stage will target multiple in-space objectives, including the deployment of eight Starlink simulators on a suborbital trajectory.
