Long March-2D launches “Satellite Internet Technology Test Satellites”

A Long March-2D launch vehicle launched another “Satellite Internet Technology Test Satellite” mission (卫星互联网技术试验卫星), four experimental satellites for Internet technology, from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, Sichuan Province, China, on 24 April 2026, at 06:35 UTC (14:35 local time). According to official sources, the satellites entered their preset orbits successfully.
 

Long March-6 launches PRSC-EO3

A Long March-6 launch vehicle launched Pakistan's PRSC-EO3 satellite from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, Shanxi Province, China, on 25 April 2026, at 12:15 UTC (20:15 local time). According to official sources, the PRSC-EO3 satellite was designed and developed by Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) and is a remote sensing satellite equipped with a high-resolution optical payload.

A Long March-7A launch vehicle (长征七号A) launched TJSW-24 (通信技术试验卫星二十四号, Communication Technology Test Satellite 24) from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site Hainan Province, China, on 26 May 2026, at 16:16 UTC (27 May, at 00:16 local time). According to official sources, the satellites entered the preset orbit successfully and “will be mainly used for verification of multi-band, high-speed satellite communication technologies”.

According to official sources, the satellites entered their preset orbits successfully.
 

Long March-12B first launch

The first Long March-12B launch vehicle (长征十二号乙十一, CZ-12B Y1) was successfully launched from the “Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Experimental Zone” (东风商业航天创新试验区), Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, China, on 1 June 2026, at 08:40 UTC (16:40 local time). According to CASC, Long March-12B is a new-generation reusable rocket, but no recovery test was conducted during this mission, “a first-stage recovery test is scheduled to be carried out at a later date”. On its maiden launch, Long March-12B launched two SpaceSail Constellation satellites (千帆星座, Qianfan Constellation) into their preset orbits.
 

Long March-5 launches TJSW-25

The Long March-5 Y11 launch vehicle (长征五号遥十一) launched TJSW-25 (通信技术试验卫星二十五号, Communication Technology Test Satellite 25) from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site Hainan Province, China, on 11 June 2026, at 07:30 UTC (15:30 local time). According to official sources, the satellite entered the planned orbit and “will be mainly used to carry out multi-band and high-speed communication technology validation tests”.
